![]() ![]() Overall I think EE suited my playstyle best. Railcraft is pretty cool if you want to set up complex minerailways, it has a signalling system for automated siding stuff. You can build a nuclear reactor with BC though. They both shift your focus into building more and more complex machines but I never found anything to do with them. With Buildcraft and Industrial Craft I found the same thing. Both interesting but they shift the focus to farming for resources instead of building your own stuff I found. ![]() They can also fight each other and there are different cultures with different architecture and goods. Except in Minecolony you plan the whole thing and Millenaire the villages are spawned and have their own AI. They are both based around giving villagers materials to build settlements. I think Minecolony and Millenaire are interesting but they shift the focus of the game a bit. Thaumcraft is somewhat similar, based around breaking down stuff into magical current which you then use to power sigils that can teleport you or flame enemies. That and Thaumcraft are the only two I have really enjoyed. For these I think you can only tell by using them to see if they make the game into something you want to play.Įquivalent Exchange lets you fly around and transmute stuff, but takes ages to build up to that, its serious God status and immortality when you do though. Then there are the big ones that change the game. There are a few different minimap mods I think, that's pretty useful. ![]() ![]() There are utility mods like Not Enough Items which lets you create anything in your inventory, thats useful for testing out mods I find. Kind of depends on what kind of game you want to play. ![]()
